The London Illustration Fair 2014

After the huge success of our first two events, The London Illustration Fair 2013 and this year's Summer Festival: Tropicana, The London Illustration Fair are back! Taking place in Hoxton Arches across 5th-7th December. Tickets for the event will go on sale via this website on Monday November 3rd.
The London Illustration Fair 2014 will host over 12 artist-led stands exhibiting the hottest selection of artwork by illustrators, graphic designs and print artists from the UK and further afield chosen by their esteemed panel of industry experts, Director of Inkygoodness Lisa Hassell, Founder & Co-founder of Outline Editions and Outline Artists Camilla Parsons & Gavin Lucas, Editor & Creative Director of Wrap Magazine Polly Glass & Chris Harrison, Associate Design Director of Phaidon Press Sarah Boris and London-based illustrator Mr Bingo.

In addition to the artist-led stands, The London Illustration Fair 2014 will showcase the work of handpicked Creative Partners JSR Agency and Bristol based stationers & lifestyle shop Papersmiths. Our Affiliated Artists who will feature inthe LIF Print Shop are Rob Lowe, Mr Bingo and Louise Zergaeng Pomeroy in the LIF Print Shop. Expect printing and making workshops, an exclusive anti-Christmas mural from Louise Zergaeng Pomeroy, live DJs, pop-up food stalls, and a whole load more!
On top of our artists selected by our judging panel we also like to invite a small but carefully whittled selection of illustrators and designers to exhibit at our events. These artists are usually a mixture of well known, well loved professionals and young creatives we feel are pulling the right shapes on the illustration world dance floor. Our entrance wall will be given an dark and disturbing Christmas makeover courtesy of award winning illustrator Louise Pomeroy at The London Illustration Fair 2014, this December. A Kingston University graduate Louise won the D&AD best Newblood for her book of illustrated shorts, I Married a Toyboy Convict. Selected clients have included The New York Times, Penguin Books, The Atlantic, Converse, Little White Lies magazine, Random House, No Brow, Port Magazine, ATP, Attitude magazine, Boat Magazine, Super superficial and Anomaly London.

As well as being a member of our judging panel renowned illustrator Mr Bingo will be exhibiting a number of his prints at The London Illustration Fair.
Mr Bingo didn't learn a lot at school but he did discover one valuable thing: he was good at making people laugh. Now a successful illustrator based in East London, he "draws stuff" for the likes of The Guardian, The Mighty Boosh, QI, The New Yorker, Jimmy Carr and The New York Times. Mr Bingo is a regular on the design speaking circuit and his first book, Hate Mail was published in 2012.
Rob Lowe, also known as Supermundane, is an artist, graphic designer, typographer, illustrator and writer with over 15 years experience in the creative industry. His signature mesmeric drawings have been published and exhibited worldwide. In 2012 he debut a new direction of pure line and colour, exploring depth, movement and optical effects.
His practice is defined by an distinctive use of colour, line and simplicity which can be seen through all his different disciplines from typeface design to his personal works.
He lives and works in London.
